Position Overview
We are seeking a Full-Time Interventional Radiologist to support comprehensive, hospital-based radiology services across three Inland Valley hospital locations. This role follows a structured block coverage model designed to support clinical continuity, procedural volume, and sustainable work-life balance. The position includes procedural responsibilities with integrated call coverage and offers the opportunity to work within a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, sound clinical judgment, and a commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a full range of interventional radiology procedures, including angiography, biopsies, catheter insertions, vascular interventions, and ablations
- Interpret diagnostic imaging to guide procedural planning
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (surgery, oncology, emergency medicine, hospitalists, etc.)
- Maintain compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards
- Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and communication
- Provide timely consultative support to referring providers
- Participate in departmental meetings, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified / Board Eligible in Interventional Radiology
- Eligible for California medical licensure
- Proficiency in minimally invasive, image-guided procedures
- Excellent communication and professionalism
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, collaborative clinical environment
Compensation
- Compensation is aligned with coverage commitment, employment classification, and annual workload expectations under an approved block scheduling model. Final compensation is determined by approved coverage level, RVU productivity expectations, and employment classification.
- Full-Time Coverage (26 Weeks / 182 Shifts per Year)
- W-2 and 1099 employment options
Productivity Compensation
- Additional diagnostic reading opportunities available with separate RVU-based compensation in addition to base shift rates.
