(SESI) has partnered with public school districts for more than 50 years to provide specialized education, alternative education, autism services, and behavioral health programs. Today, SESI serves more than 7,000 students through specialized day schools, in-district classrooms, and therapeutic programs designed to help students with exceptional learning and behavioral needs succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.
The Northeast Region represents a cornerstone of SESI's national portfolio, serving communities across Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts. The region oversees approximately $26 million in annual revenue, 11 specialized education programs, 217 employees, and three Regional Directors. The Opportunity: Regional Vice President, Northeast
Reporting to the Senior Vice President, East Territory, the Regional Vice President provides strategic leadership across the Northeast region, overseeing a portfolio of approximately $26 million in annual revenue, 11 specialized education programs, and a team of two to three Regional Directors.
This executive is responsible for leading one of SESI's most visible regions by balancing operational excellence, educational leadership, financial stewardship, and strategic growth. Working collaboratively with Regional Directors, district leaders, executive leadership, and cross-functional partners, the Regional Vice President develops high-performing leaders, strengthens district partnerships, improves organizational performance, and ensures exceptional educational outcomes for students with specialized learning and behavioral needs.
This is far more than an operational leadership position. It is an opportunity to lead through influence, develop future leaders, expand educational partnerships, and help shape the future of specialized education across the Northeast. The successful candidate will inherit a strong operational foundation, the support and resources of a national organization, and the autonomy to lead the region with both strategic vision and entrepreneurial thinking.

Location and Compensation
This is a remote position, and candidates must reside in Connecticut, Massachusetts, or Rhode Island. The role requires regional travel of up to 40%. Compensation is commensurate with experience, with an anticipated base salary of $170,000–$200,000 and eligibility for an annual performance-based bonus of up to 30%.
