We are searching for an IT Support Specialist to provide onsite support for a financial institution. This position is contract to hire and pays from $22 to $24 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Provide onsite technical support for hardware, software, printers, and phones
- Install, configure, and maintain IT systems and user workstations
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently
- Set up new employees with required hardware, software, and access
- Deliver basic user training and onboarding support
- Implement software updates, patches, and system upgrades
- Assist with IT infrastructure and system-related projects
- Manage user accounts including onboarding and offboarding
- Support disaster recovery testing and business continuity efforts
- Track and document issues using IT service management systems
Requirements
- Associate degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent education
- 1–3 years of IT support or related experience
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, networking, and IT infrastructure
- Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware and software
- Proficiency in Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship, now or in the future
