IT Support Specialist

We are searching for an IT Support Specialist to provide onsite support for a financial institution. This position is contract to hire and pays from $22 to $24 per hour. 


Responsibilities

 

  • Provide onsite technical support for hardware, software, printers, and phones 
  • Install, configure, and maintain IT systems and user workstations 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently 
  • Set up new employees with required hardware, software, and access 
  • Deliver basic user training and onboarding support 
  • Implement software updates, patches, and system upgrades 
  • Assist with IT infrastructure and system-related projects 
  • Manage user accounts including onboarding and offboarding 
  • Support disaster recovery testing and business continuity efforts 
  • Track and document issues using IT service management systems 


Requirements

 

  • Associate degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent education 
  • 1–3 years of IT support or related experience 
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, networking, and IT infrastructure 
  • Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware and software 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively 
  • Authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship, now or in the future
