We are searching for a Bilingual HR Generalist to provide onsite support for a hospitality company with multiple locations. This position is contract-to-hire and pays $28 to $31 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruiting and onboarding efforts across multiple locations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations, policy interpretation, and issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws within a regulated gaming environment.
- Administer onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Support benefits administration, including enrollment, eligibility, and employee inquiries.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in an HRIS system.
- Prepare HR reports and metrics to support leadership decision-making.
- Provide bilingual (English/Spanish) communication and translation support for HR matters.
- Partner with management to support employee engagement and workplace culture.
- Perform additional HR-related duties as needed to support operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field is required.
- 3+ years of experience in an HR Generalist role.
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, both written and verbal.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and best practices.
- Experience with HRIS platforms such as Paychex, ADP, or similar systems.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, onsite environment.
- High degree of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) and gaming or hospitality experience preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming Card.
