Are you an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) leader ready to advance your career in hospital nursing management?

We are seeking an RN Manager — Critical Care to provide leadership, clinical oversight, and operational support for an assigned hospital patient-care area.

Working closely with senior nursing leadership, you will help ensure the delivery of high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care while supporting clinical staff competency, nursing practice, and effective patient-care resource management.

This opportunity is ideal for an RN with progressive hospital leadership experience who is comfortable taking ownership of unit operations and serving as a strong advocate for professional nursing practice.

What You’ll Do

Core Duties:

  • Provide leadership and operational oversight for assigned nursing and patient-care areas
  • Assist with assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing practice at the unit level
  • Assume 24/7 management responsibility for assigned areas
  • Support senior nursing leadership in maintaining high standards for patient care and nursing practice
  • Help ensure nursing care is consistently safe, appropriate, and high quality
  • Support the competency, development, and performance of clinical staff
  • Assist with effective staffing and resource management related to patient care
  • Demonstrate strong hospital operational and nursing leadership abilities
  • Maintain effective communication with clinical staff, leadership, and other hospital departments
  • Serve as a professional role model and advocate for the nursing profession
  • Perform additional related duties as required

What You’ll Need — Mandatory Qualifications

RN Licensure:

  • Active and current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of residence/practice

Education:

  • Academic degree in nursing required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
  • Master’s degree preferred

Management Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment
  • Experience must include work as a nurse manager, full-time charge nurse, or related nursing leadership position

Certification:

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Leadership & Communication:

  • Proven nursing leadership ability
  • Strong hospital operational skills
  • Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to serve as a role model and advocate for professional nursing practice

Additional Requirements:

  • Management experience required
  • Approximately 2–5 years of relevant experience preferred
  • Occasional travel may be required
  • Visa sponsorship is not available
  • Relocation assistance is not available
